Perlit ’92 Ltd. exports 90% of the perlite grades produced, and delivers it to 18 countries regularly. Most important foreign markets are Germany, Austria and Poland.

Main part of products is transported in bulk with 25 t trucks and 25 t silo trucks, by railway with special, closed railway wagons of 51 t and 62 t capacity. Transports are also possible in containers; paper bags and different types of big-bags can be used for packing. 400 t barges can be considered for transports to South-Eastern-Europe, too.

An important part of perlite grades sold is transported per rail. A modern reloading unite at the railway station in Sátoraljaújhely serves reloading of the products from trucks into railway wagons. Capacity of the

reloading station reaching 100.000 t/y.

The Perlit-92 Kft. exports perlite to 18 European countries.
